Sustainable Restaurant Group (SRG) announced Thursday the completion and launch of its Carbon Calculator tool, which was created to determine the company’s carbon footprint and the offsets required to neutralize its affect on the environment.

Chicagoans Can Now Earn Free Food Through Freevo App

Freevo, a membership-based mobile app offering free food and drinks throughout the city, is officially launching Thursday in Chicago. The app, which began beta testing earlier this year, has since attained thousands of satisfied users and over 150 partner restaurants covering the greater Chicago area, including Sayat Nova (Streeterville), Mama Milano’s Pizza Bar (Old Town) and Milt’s Barbecue for the Perplexed (Lakeview).

On June 15, Matt Brigotti joined the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) foodservice marketing team as Foodservice Promotions Director for the Northeast and Midwest, based in Richfield, OH. Brigotti will work closely with Tod Schmidt, the current regional Foodservice Promotion Director and 16-year veteran who will be retiring in October, and two other IPC foodservice promotion directors to transition to the IPC team.
