Portland City Grill Unveils Private Chef's Table
Private dining in Portland, Oregon, will reach new heights next month when Portland City Grill unveils its private Chef’s Table, 30 floors above the city streets.
The room, which will accommodate up to 14 guests, is destined to be Portland’s premier location for events ranging from sealing business deals to celebrating anniversaries.
This intimate aerie showcases Portland City Grill’s famous view, and it also treats guests to a look inside the kitchen at the artistry and craft behind the restaurant’s elegant-yet-approachable cuisine, prepared using the most advanced culinary techniques.
“For food lovers, a seat at the Chef’s Table will be like having front row tickets to a Broadway play or backstage passes to the Rolling Stones,” says culinary director Brian Poor.
“The intimate setting allows our guests to develop a truly personal connection with the chef over the course of the evening while being granted unprecedented access to the action in the kitchen. It all happens without distracting from what’s really important about enjoying a great meal—time with people who are important to you.”
Guests of the Chef’s Table are privy to exclusive seasonal menus developed by Poor; they may also request a one-on-one visit with the chef prior to the evening of their reservation to further tailor the menu to include whatever the guests’ desire, including suggested wine pairings.
But for those wishing to place the evening entirely in the chef’s expert hands, Poor will create and present specialties chosen to suit the occasion, customized from the first dish to the last bite.
