N.C. Burger Chain Revamps With New Name: Highway 55 Burgers and Shakes

Andy’s Burgers Shakes & Fries has officially changed its name to Highway 55 as of Feb. 24, 2012.  Although the name is changing, the restaurant chain’s concept will stay the same it’s been since its establishment in 1991, and Highway 55 will continue to deliver the brand’s traditional American classics in the same family-friendly, ‘50s diner setting.

Emphasis on Employees

Ask any restaurant operator and he or she will tell you that turnover in the industry is high. But it doesn’t have to be. Employees who feel engaged by their job tend to stick around and be better staff members.
